BIOGRAPHY
Angelina is a native of Brava, Cape Verde Islands. She came to America with her sisters in the early 90's to New Bedford MA and it is there that she desired to become a Fashion Designer during her Junior High School. She develop her talents as a Fashion Designer with her sketches and keeping up with her grades for college. she went to Bay State College in Boston MA and graduated in 2008 with a 4.0 GPA. Her retail experience includes “Lord & Taylor”, “Ann Taylor”, “Banana Republic”, "Joseph Abboud", “Brahmin” , "Alexander's Bridal Boutique" and "Armani Exchange" A/X. Angelina Monteiro currently resides in New Bedford, MA. She often unwinds by sewing her collections at home, spending time with her family & friends and running to keep herself mentally and physically fit. Her main role model is Christian Dior. She wants to stay on the road to COUTURE. Only few designers are blessed with Couture Fashion shows & she desires to become one of these great designers with her Couture Fashion Show Presentations. When Angelina Monteiro is not developing Fashion Designer creative talents, she is updating her second poetry book and did I mention that she’s a song-writer as well? This intelligent Fashion Designer has a bright future ahead of her and with her determination it might be sooner than we anticipated. |
